Wheyhey at Nike Womens 10k!

On Sunday thousands of women took to the streets of London for a 10k route around London’s Victoria Park filled with music, lights, tunnels and the promise of ‘the unexpected’. Even one of our team joined the thousands, completing her first ever 10k run. Wheyhey were ready and waiting in the finishers village to refuel the girls. The atmosphere was electric, with spirits high and the music pumping we knew it was going to be a great day!

The warm up was headed up by the Equinox team, they got everyone pumped and ready for the run. The course was a fantastic flat route through the scenic Victoria park which meant a lot of girls were going for a PB.

Our Wheyhey cheerleaders were ready and waiting to encourage everyone to keep pushing!

Runners were greeted at the finish line with iconic post race bling was exclusively designed by jewellery designer Alex Monroe along with a fantastic goody bag. After the race all the competitors and their supporters headed to the finishers Village to collect their celebratory glass of Champagne and see what was going on. The sun was out so the girls flooded over to the wheyhey stand to grab a tub and relax on a bean bag.

Nike once again put on a fantastic event! Well done to all the competitors you surely did run London!
