Pecans, Bananas & Banoffee Wheyhey
We’re going truly banana’s with this recipe and you will be too, once you’ve tried and tested it. It’s a quick and easy to make Wheyhey mix that you can’t resist!
All that’s left to do is grab your ingredients and follow Heather‘s simple steps. This recipe serves one, but we’d advise doubling up as you’ll definitely want to go back for more.
1 small tub of Wheyhey banoffee
1 ripe banana
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Sugar free toffee or caramel sauce
Pecan nuts (optional)
Cacao nibs (optional)
1. Heat the coconut oil in a pan on a medium heat.
2. Slice the banana in half length ways and place them into the hot pan.
3. Cook until they begin to colour and ‘caramelise’ – this will take about 2 minutes on each side.
4. Tip the caramelised bananas out of the pan onto a plate and immediately add your toppings, ice cream and a spoon.
… And now you’re ready to tuck into soft sweet banana and cool creamy ice cream for a delicious healthy high protein treat!
